The British-Irish boy band have sold over 1.6 million records in just four months, had 100 million views on YouTube, two number one selling books, scored two major hit singles and a platinum selling debut album, Up All Night.
The boy's debut single, What Makes You Beautiful, was named 'Best Single' at the Brits after topping the charts last September to become the third fastest selling single of 2011.
Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson followed this up with their second single, Gotta Be You, which entered the charts at number three in November.
This year's dates will be the first time the boys have played Manchester Arena since starring in the X Factor Live Manchester shows in 2011.
